Ministry of the Interior offices will have adjusted opening hours during the Christmas holidays and the end of 2024.
The Ministry of the Interior offices will be open on 23 December 2024 and 30 December 2024 from 8.00 to 12.00 only for necessary and urgent issues. For other acts, submission by post or data box may be used. Except for 30 December 2024, the offices will be closed during the Christmas and New Year holidays from 24 December 2024 to 1 January 2025 or will only handle clients pre-booked by the administration.
On 2 January 2024, the offices will be open according to the office hours of each office.
In Prague, all Ministry of the Interior offices will be closed. For urgent matters (e.g. notification of change of employer ), you can contact the Regional Assistance Centre for Ukraine in Prague, which will be open on 23 December 2024 and 30 December 2024 from 8.00 to 12.00. During this period, it will replace to a limited extent the activities of the traditional offices of the Ministry of the Interior in Prague. All foreigners with a registered place of residence in Prague can come to the office.
In the South Bohemia Region, only the office in České Budějovice will be open during adjusted opening hours. The offices in Písek and Jindřichův Hradec will be closed. All foreigners with a registered place of residence in South Bohemia Region can come to the office.
Only the Hradec Králové office will be open in the Hradec Králové Region. The office in Trutnov will be closed.
