Withdrawal of the Application
Withdrawal of an application occurs, when the applicant is no longer interested in the clearance of his application1. The administrative body is then, obliged to discontinue its action.
If there are other applicants in the matter, all of them must give their consent to the withdrawal.
The application can be withdrawn within the period of its filing and the date of the decision of the Ministry of the Interior. You can also withdraw your application after the start of any appeal procedure.
When you withdraw your application, it must be clear, as to which case it relates to (by stating the reference number), and it must be specifically stated, that you wish to withdraw your application. Applicants must also give the following data:
- Name and Surname
- Date of birth
- Residential address (or another correspondence address)
Withdrawal of your application can be submitted in person at an office of the Ministry of the Interior, or sent through the post, or via Data Box, or by e-mail with an advanced electronic signature, or sent by an authorized representative.
